WE ARE SOM

Continuing the University of the Philippine’s tradition of excellence and having a vision for a better Mindanao, the School of Management (SOM) has trained professionals and community leaders since its inception in 1996, initially offering a Master in Management. In response to the need for an undergraduate program relevant to the region, we launched the Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness Economics in 2005. We aim to contribute to the transformation of Mindanao into an education, commercial, and financial hub of the East ASEAN Growth Area by generating industry-relevant research, providing effective public service and extension programs, and educating socially responsible and dynamic leaders.
