The School of Management (SOM) conducted its Master in Management (MM) Bridge Program for the incoming batch of students for AY 2025-2026 at the Lorenzo Hall, Admin Bldg., UP Mindanao campus last August 8–9, 2025. The two-day event aimed to orient new students on the MM program and provide them with an early glimpse of their academic journey. Participants took part in class simulations, lectures, and workshops facilitated by SOM Faculty that introduced various topics and courses covered in the program. These activities were designed to equip them with the foundational knowledge and skills necessary for a smooth transition into graduate-level studies.
Highlighting the event were the sharing sessions from two of the MM alumni from the Class of 2025, Mr. John Patrick G. Santos, and Mr. Leopoldo D. Aquino Jr., who offered valuable insights and practical survival tips for succeeding in the program. Their experiences served as both inspiration and guidance for the incoming students.
The Bridge Program concluded with an engaging can grouping activity led by the MM Senior batch, followed by election of Class Officers for Batch 2025, and the distribution of tokens from the seniors as a gesture of welcome. Through this program, SOM not only prepared its new students academically but also helped them build connections within the MM community.
